NOVATION - CIRCUIT
The Novation Circuit Groove Box is a drum machine featuring a 4x8 grid with 64 synth patches. The Circuit is a grid based groove box that can stand on its own two feet without the need for software or computers. It’s compact; battery powered and features a powerful built-in speaker giving you all you need to make music anywhere. Two Novation polysynths and a four-part drum machine, combined with an intuitive grid-based sequencer in a box that will have you making electronic music in minutes.
The 32 RGB backlit velocity sensitive pads allow you to quickly build your songs. Forming a 4x8 grid, these form the main control of the combined 2 Nova synths and a 4-part drum machine, allowing you to build expressive drum beats, whilst adding synthesis. Keyboard scales have been applied to the grid, making it super easy to control the 64 synth patches. Circuit delivers cutting-edge sound with production-ready monophonic and polyphonic patches and tons of character for easily creating deep bass lines, epic leads and warm pads.
After you’ve created your tune, you can then add space, depth and energy to your music with built-in effects. Sidechain your synths to the kick drum to get them to pump. When you’re done, save your tune to one of 32 slots. Eight macro knobs allow you to subtly sculpt and your sound or completely transform each patch. Two MIDI sockets allow the Circuit to be used with your computer and other synth gear, along with its USB port. Two Line Out’s for left and right allow you to plug directly into a sound system, but of course you don’t have to, the Circuit features its own built in speaker. A 3.5mm headphones socket found on the front of the groove box brings the sound directly to your ears when on the move.
