The 8MX2 rack mount preamp/mixer is perfect for remote recording, live broadcast feeds, studio "sidecar" inputs, and all critical digital recording formats. 

The ATI 8MX2 (built by API) is a rackmount preamplifier and 8x2x8 mixer, covering a wide range of needs for the audio professional. For starters, it's a great 8-channel system for remote recording, mobile recording, and live broadcast feed applications — not only can you mix the channels into a stereo output, but you can also take direct outs. The ATI 8MX2 also works well in project/professional studio environments — with its detented knobs, you can take precise, repeatable steps with your audio. Each channel has selectable 48V phantom power and there's also individual threshold limiting onboard the ATI 8MX2
